El Ministerio de Agricultura, Alimentación y Medio Ambiente ha editado un Newsletter informativo sobre el Jamón Serrano, en el que se detallan sus principales características y requisitos de calidad y control.

De acuerdo con el plan de internacionalización desarrollado en los últimos años para ampliar la presencia del jamón serrano en otros países, facilitando la apertura, desarrollo y consolidación de estos mercados para las empresas asociadas, la Fundación del Jamón Serrano Español ha actualizado, revisado y completado los contenidos de la versión inglesa de su portal web.

Unas 5.000 personas asistieron a la convocatoria, muchos de ellos ciudadanos de otros países, que disfrutaron de una demostración de corte y degustación de Jamón Serrano de la Fundación.

La Fundación del Jamón Serrano Español fue elegida para formar parte del jurado que realizó la Cata de evaluación de los productos presentados a los premios Gran Selección 2012, organizados por la Comunidad de Castilla-La Mancha para promocionar la oferta agroalimentaria de calidad de la región.
